Information We Don't Collect
Pablo is designed with privacy as a core principle. All voice processing occurs locally on your device:
- Your voice recordings are never sent to our servers
- Your transcribed text remains on your device
- We don't store or have access to any content you create with Pablo
- No login or account is required to use Pablo
Information We May Collect
The following information may be collected only with your explicit consent:
- Anonymous Usage Statistics: Basic application events and crash reports to improve stability (you can disable this in Preferences)
- Update Checks: Pablo may check for software updates (you can disable this in Preferences)
How We Use Information
Any anonymous usage data we collect is used solely to:
- Improve the reliability and performance of Pablo
- Fix bugs and address technical issues
- Make informed decisions about future features
Third-Party Services
Pablo does not integrate with third-party services that would compromise your privacy. The application works entirely offline.
Local Machine Learning Model
Pablo uses a local machine learning model based on the open-source Whisper project (MIT license). This model runs entirely on your device and does not require an internet connection.
Data Retention
Since Pablo does not collect or store your voice recordings or transcriptions, there is no data retention policy for user content. For the limited anonymous usage statistics that may be collected with your consent, we retain this information for a maximum of 12 months.
Children's Privacy
Pablo is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
